• With the Institute of Masters of he has been trained in Austria, Bordeaux and London.
• Founder World Conference on Climate Change & Wine
• Founder of the Spanish Wine Education certification program
• Personally trained by Vice-president Al Gore and member of The Climate Project
• Attended Medical School
• Former President and CEO of CSM, event management company with whom he organized and managed Davis Cup, the World Cup of Indoor Trials, the Pro Beach Soccer World Tour and events with Andre Agassi, Stefab Edberg, Emilio and Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Eric Cantona, Pink Floyd, Sting, Enrique Iglesias, Tom Jones and Jamiroquai amongst many others.

Antonio Casado

Antonio Casado • Freelance journalist and writer.
• Former coordinator and main taster for the Guía Peñín, Spain´s most important wine guide.
• Has collaborated with some of the most important publications such as El Mundo, Spain Gourmetour, Revista del Aula Marqués de Arienzo, Flavours from France, Finewines and Simple Wines (Russia).
• Studied CommunicationS in Madrid and London.
• Former branch manager for the UK based wine merchant OddBins.
• Wine editor for the magazine Vino + Gastronomía and former wine writer for Sibaritas, Spain´s leading wine magazine
• Member of the international jury and official taster for some of the most prestigious international competitions such as the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Michelangelo International Wine Awards of South Africa and Concorso Enologico Internazionale of Vinitaly.

Javier Arauz

Javier Arauz • Director of New Spain Wines, an export and broker consultant for numerous Spanish wineries.
• Former Director for The Wine Academy of Spain.
• Coordinator of the Barcelona Wine Festival, Madrid Wine Festival and the World Conference on Climate Change & Wine.
• Co-founder of the Spanish Wine Education program with Pancho Campo.

Jesús Bernad

Jesús Bernad • Studied oenology, viticulture and winemaking at the Escuela de la Vid in Madrid.
• Former sommelier and wine consultant at several restaurants in Madrid, Rioja, Cuba and Washington DC.

• Former wine consultant and faculty member for numerous wineries, wine courses and training programs for wine professionals: Marqués de Arienzo, Wines from Spain, Gonzalez Byass and ICEX, amongst many others.
• Wine writer who has published several books.
• Editor and wine director for several Spanish newspapers and magazines.
• Member of the jury for numerous international wine competitions.

David D. Denton

David D. Denton • Sommelier at Charlie Palmer Steak in Washington D.C.
• Certified Wine Educator(CWE) with the Society of Wine Educators.
• One of only 240 in the world.
• Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
• Personally trained under Pancho Campo to pass the Spanish Wine
Educator. One of the top 15 in the U.S.A.
• Master Sommelier student with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
• Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) with the Society of Wine Educators.
• Society of Wine Educators Conference Sommelier 2007 to present.
• Has visited the major wine regions of Spain including Rioja,
Ribera del Duero, Sherry, Rias Baixas and Penedes.

Esteban Cabezas

Esteban Cabezas • Expert in wine marketing with more than 15 years of experience working for large corporations such as Colgate–Palmolive, Allied-Domecq (ahora Pernord-Ricard) and Coca-Cola.
• He is now a partner in The Wine Academy of Spain to develop the first Wine Business School in Spain.
